Mongolian horseman travel set trousse

Mongolian horseman eating set trousse

This mongolian eating set trousse comprises a small knife and two chopsticks. This type of eating set came from Mongolia, being used by horsemen, and lately became very common in China, up to the end of the 19th century when it was part of most men dress up.

The knife has a traditional pattern welded damascus blade. The handle and the chopsticks are made of bone. The scabbard is covered with ray skin with brass fittings.
