Set of two chinese knives with ebony and bone handles in a mongolian box made of painted wood

Yin-Yang knives box

The design of these knives comes from ancient chinese engraved jade objects. The "Yin-Yang" name was inspired by the opposite colors of the handles. The first one is made of black ebony, the other one is made of white camel bone. Both are hand-sculpted, showing traditional chinese dragon patterns.

Both blades are forged, with claw shape and "crude forge" finishing (mean that the blade is left as it is when taken out of the forge fire). The set of knives is enclosed within a painted wood mongolian box
